Accessibility/Connectivity to Hamburg

By Ferries:
Ferries from Harwich and Newcastle gather at Fischerhafen from where buses run to Altona station, west of town. Ferries from other tourist destinations dock at St. Pauli Landungsbruecken.

By air:
Hamburg-Fuhlsbuttel airport is situated at the northern edge of the city, in close vicinity to the living areas. The buses run from the airport to the train station, run every twenty minutes, but it is little cheaper to take the HVV airport bus to the U-Bahn (underground) and S-Bahn stop at Ohlsdorf.
