People of Hamburg
The people of Hamburg adore their city. Incidentally, they have faced one of the worst tragedy in the history of Germany as it must have been a horrifying experience for the people on the Süllberg to undergo a blazing destruction of their city in 1943. Those were the days and nights when this town had to pay a shocking price for the war that Germany had started and brutally pursued.
Hamburg is brimming with many cultural activities; the city endorse three state theatres and 35 private theatres, three orchestras and innumerable concert halls, the Kunsthalle art gallery and 40 public and private museums. Of outstanding quality, Hamburg's State Opera Ballet directed by John Neumeier, the Thalia Theatre and the Hamburger Kunsthalle (above) with international modern art in the gallery of contemporary art designed by architect Oswald Mathias Unger. The people over here quite fascinated by the art forms and regularly visit theatres and cinema halls.
